Number Bubble Target Painting

Number Bubble Target Painting

Here the Preschool B class took aim and did their best to spray the number that was called out to them during aNumber Bubble Target Painting activity.

They learned about different sizes and associated size with numbers as they tried to hit the largest to smallest bubbles and bigger and smaller numbers.

In the end they were left with a beautifully painted number banner to hang in their math center.

Friendship Photo Booth

Friendship Photo Booth

Our Preschool B children have been so interested in friendship activities lately that we decided to make our very ownFriendship Photo Booth

The class worked together to paint the purple backdrop for the inside of the booth and all took turns taking pictures of each other with kid-friendly real digital cameras.

They each loved getting their pictures taken but also loved being the “photographer” and learned about composition and framing a photo.

Our Attendance Board

Our Attendance Board
The children in the Preschool B class love signing in on our Attendance Boardevery morning.

They search through the magnet letters to find and spell their names and then write their names all by themselves.

Day by day they see their writing skills improving and are so excited when they can identify each others’ names when we do attendance.

Creative Learning Activity

 Creative Learning Activity

In this Creative Learning Activity, the Preschool B class rolled, flattened and molded clay and learned about beginning letter sounds as they made various animals or items that started with different letters of their choice.

We read the alphabet book called “A Ball of Clay” and got some great ideas!

Pictured here, Gustavo is rolling the tentacles for his “Octopus” that starts with the letter “O”.
