It is with deep sadness that we note the passing of Jesse Jackson

Prominent Thoroughbred owner Jess Jackson, who campaigned Horse of the Year honorees Curlin and Rachel Alexandra under his Stonestreet Stable colors, died in his sleep Thursday at his Geyersville, Calif. home following a battle with cancer. He was 81.

He was a good friend of Ann House.
