John Nerud's Generous Donation of $50,000 To The Belmont Child Care Association
On April 14th, Racing Hall of Fame trainer John Nerud presented a check for $50,000 to BCCA
Mr. Nerud has been a long time and loyal donor to The BCCA and his gift is so appreciated. Mr. Nerud has been a frequent visitor to Anna House, where he regales the children with stories of his many years on the racetrack.

He said that he started working on the tracks as a stable hand for one dollar a day, and now is proud to be able to give back to the children of the people who are working as he did many years ago.

 

He added  “this wonderful place should be visited by everyone in our industry to see what can be done by a group of dedicated people. He also added: “I have more money than days left so it makes me happy to give to such a worthy cause.”
